I live in the United States (if that matters) I found a website that has movies still in theaters (in other words bootleg movies) the site does not require registration and McAfee says it is a greenlight and has no virus,ect. and i was just wandering

1) is it illegal for me to watch the movies?

2) I think that only the distributer can get in trouble not viewer but im not sure?

3) I know it’s illegal for the distibution of bootleg movies so why is the site still in bussiness?

Man I hate this crap i am getting multiple answers from several locations and most of them are different I hate this i can’t just get a straight answer
